Sandy Tells How The Name Was Chosen The name, SAGE Creative, was selected for a variety of reasons. Sage is a seasoning, a plant with medicinal qualities and is used as a purifying smudge in rituals. It signifies the transition from the mundane, or ordinary life, into the sacred space. A sage is a wise person. My passion is in assisting others in living a well-seasoned, creative, spiritually grounded and healthy life. Each of us can access our innate wisdom to live a more joyous and meaningful life. I can be your guide and support in this process. And, SAGE incorporates the initials of my great grandmother, Sarah Anne, and my grandmother, Grace Elizabeth. Some years ago, my mother dreamed of her own business, Sage Creations, which got as far as a logo and business card. Altering the name slightly, honors my lineage and carries the dream forward.
